Purple Rage the Crested Penguin - badge

Meet Purple Rage, a dizzying combination of charming colourful bandages and unfettered feral penguin anger. A crested penguin that landed with us in 2019, Purple Rage was all punk rock and attitude despite his foot and flipper injuries. We don’t know how he was injured, but his personality would suggest it was a whole gang of sharks, and they definitely got the worst of it.

With us for several hair-raising weeks, Purple Rage healed well and was sent to our friends at Penguin Place for some rehab before release with a strict no-backs policy.

Purple Rage is available in keychain and badge styles.

Keychains are 30mm x 40mm. Badges are 30mm in diameter.

Each item is laser cut and etched on highly renewable bamboo, then hand painted with NZ-made, plant-based Natural Paint Co colours, all right here in Ōtepoti Dunedin, the wildlife capital of New Zealand.
