Humans aren’t the only ones who need a big Christmas dinner. Feeding all our patients at the hospital is a huge task. From hoiho that go through buckets and buckets of fish, to kākāpā who destroy bunches of berries, keeping these guys full is a full-time job.

The Wildlife Hospital opened in January 2018. Since then, we’ve treated thousands of patients, some of which have been very fussy eaters. Not only do they take a lot of special care, they take a lot of feeding, too.
